The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed strong confidence that the party will emerge victorious in the August 15 governorship election.
Speaking through his media adviser, Yusuf Abiola, Oyebamiji dismissed what he described as opposition-driven propaganda, insisting that the APC remains united and focused on reclaiming power in the state. Addressing party loyalists, the candidate, popularly known as AMBO, said distractions from rival parties would not derail the APC’s campaign.
“We remain steady, united, and committed to winning the forthcoming election,” he said, adding that victory is “within reach” if supporters remain resolute.
Beyond rhetoric, Oyebamiji shifted attention to mobilisation, calling on party members to intensify grassroots efforts, particularly around voter registration. He urged eligible voters who have yet to register to take advantage of the final window of the ongoing exercise, stressing that turnout could be decisive.
“Every supporter should ensure full participation… as every vote will count on election day,” he said.

The campaign also received a boost from party chieftain Francis Eniade, who donated campaign vehicles and motorcycles to the AMBO campaign council. Oyebamiji described the gesture as a sign of loyalty and commitment to the party’s success.
Similarly, the Osun APC chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, commended Eniade’s contributions, noting that such support reflects growing internal momentum ahead of the polls. He added that the party remains open to backing from stakeholders willing to strengthen its campaign.

Responding, Eniade pledged continued support through empowerment initiatives across his constituency, reinforcing the party’s grassroots strategy.
With political activities intensifying ahead of the August election, the APC appears to be consolidating internal support while pushing for broader voter participation, an approach that could prove decisive in what is expected to be a closely watched contest in Osun.
