Madonna, Shakira and BTS will headline the half-time show at the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, adding a major entertainment spectacle to football’s biggest match.
The final is scheduled to take place in New Jersey in July, with the performance expected to run for approximately 11 minutes during the match interval.
The event will mark the first time a World Cup final features a Super Bowl-style musical performance, bringing together some of the world’s biggest music stars on one stage.
Shakira is also expected to release a new World Cup anthem featuring Burna Boy. The Colombian superstar has a long history with the tournament, having delivered some of its most memorable official songs.

Madonna, whose career spans more than four decades, remains one of the most influential performers in global pop music, while BTS recently resumed full group activities after members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service.
Gianni Infantino said the performance would represent a landmark moment for the tournament. The show is being coordinated with support from Chris Martin of Coldplay and will also help promote a global education initiative for children.
