Elon Musk and Tim Cook are set to accompany Donald Trump on a major business and technology visit to China later this week.
The trip, scheduled for Thursday and Friday in Beijing, will include talks between Trump and Xi Jinping, with discussions expected to focus on trade, investment and strengthening technological cooperation between the world’s two largest economies.
Musk and Cook will be among more than 15 top American executives joining the U.S. president for the visit. The delegation also includes senior leaders from Meta, Visa, JPMorgan Chase, Boeing and Cargill.
Other executives expected to participate include Kelly Ortberg, Brian Sikes, Chuck Robbins, Jim Anderson, Larry Culp, Jacob Thaysen, Dina Powell McCormick, Sanjay Mehrotra and Cristiano Amon.

The Beijing visit was initially planned for early April but was postponed amid heightened geopolitical tensions related to the United States’ conflict with Iran.
The trip is expected to serve as a significant diplomatic and commercial engagement, bringing together government officials and some of America’s most influential technology and business leaders to explore new opportunities for cooperation with China.
