FC Barcelona have been crowned champions of La Liga for the 29th time after a 2-0 victory over rivals Real Madrid CF in the final El Clásico of the season.
The title-deciding clash at Camp Nou saw the Catalan club deliver a commanding performance to seal the championship with three games to spare.
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was honoured with a minute of silence before kickoff following the recent death of his father, and his players responded with a performance worthy of the occasion.
The hosts opened the scoring in the ninth minute when Marcus Rashford curled a superb free kick past Thibaut Courtois.
Barcelona doubled their lead before halftime as Ferran Torres finished off a well-worked move created by Dani Olmo, putting the league leaders firmly in control.

Real Madrid pressed for a way back into the game after the break, with Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Gonzalo García all threatening, but Barcelona’s defence held firm.
The victory also marked a historic milestone for João Cancelo, who became the first player to win league titles in all five of Europe’s major leagues.
Barcelona’s triumph caps an outstanding first season under Flick, who has guided the club back to the summit of Spanish football.
For Real Madrid, the defeat confirmed a disappointing season in which the club will finish without a major trophy.
