The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muhammad Oyanki, has called on residents of the state and Nigerians at large to support President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in the 2027 general elections.
Oyanki appealed during a meeting with a forum of political appointees from Doma Local Government Area, where he also urged support for Governor Abdullahi Sule’s preferred governorship candidate, Aliyu Wadada, under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He said strengthening support for the APC would ensure continued delivery of what he described as democratic dividends beyond 2027, adding that unity within the party was critical to achieving electoral success.
According to him, the meeting was convened to foster cohesion and outline strategies for the party’s growth in the area.
“This meeting is to unite us and discuss the progress of the APC and Doma LGA… I urge us to work together and tirelessly to deliver President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Aliyu Wadada, and the APC in the 2027 general elections,” Oyanki said.

He also commended both President Tinubu and Governor Sule, stating that their administrations had performed well across key sectors of the economy.
