NSE names Tuface as ambassador

The Nigerian Stock Exchange has selected music living legend, Innocent Idibia, prevalently known as Tuface, as its Good Cause Ambassador.

Tuface was disclosed as a represetative on the floor of the Exchange on Tuesday.

Tuface said further to his arrangement, he would loan his voice to bringing issues to light and activating help for the Corporate Social Responsibility and manageability activities of the NSE. This, he stated, would be outfitted towards accomplishing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria.

He stated,“I am honoured to join the NSE family as a Good Cause Ambassador. I have always used my music to inspire change in the world and this has been the focus of the campaigns I have supported over the years.

“I am indeed delighted to be given the opportunity to serve in this capacity. I will like to assure all that I will be dedicated to the good cause of promoting sustainable development as championed by the Exchange.”

The Chief Executive Officer, NSE, Mr Oscar Onyema, stated, “We are pleased to welcome Tuface Idibia as the first NSE Good Cause Ambassador.

“His focus on promoting social causes such as raising awareness on
peace, the fight against fake drugs and various other ills that plague
the Nigerian society through his music aligns with our commitment to
creating sustainable value for our diverse stakeholders as well as
increasing impact in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.”

Onyema expressed that the NSE ran a comprehensive corporate supportability methodology that elevated market-based way to deal with natural, social and administration objectives among all partners.

He said the arrangement of Tuface was planned for rousing quickened advance towards the progression of the SDGs.
