
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on April 20.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s spokesperson, who said candidates can access their results through the board’s usual result-checking process.
However, the board did not disclose the number of candidates affected by the latest release.
Before the April 20 batch, JAMB had already released 1,897,692 results from earlier exam days, including:
The April 20 release completes another phase of result processing in the ongoing UTME cycle.
Some candidates had raised concerns over delays in the release of results, particularly for Friday’s examination, saying they incurred repeated charges while attempting to check their scores.
However, JAMB dismissed calls for refunds, stating that it had not officially announced the release before Sunday, and therefore, no refund policy applied.
With results now being released in batches, candidates are expected to continue checking the official JAMB portal for updates as the board completes processing for all examination days.
