EndSARS: Nigerians on Twitter drag Rinu for calling Nigeria a zoo.

Popular social media influencer turns #EndSARS protest frontier Oduala Olorunrinu, aka Rinu seems to have step some Twitter users toes after she called Nigeria a zoo in a Twitter post she put out in support of the protest.

It appears some Nigerians don’t like their beloved country current being ravaged by corruption and police brutality a zoo.

Like she rightly said, it has been 3 consecutive months that the Central Bank of Nigeria had frozen 20 Nigerians bank accounts for supporting the #EndSARS protest

The frozen bank accounts are domiciled in Access Bank, Guaranty Trust Bank, Fidelity Bank, First Bank, United Bank for Africa, and Zenith Bank.

According to PMNews, Central Bank Governor Godwin Emefiele in suit FHC/ABJ/CS/1384/2020, Justice A.R. Mohammed said the apex bank empowered him to direct the head office of each of the banks to “freeze forthwith all transactions on the 20 Bank Accounts listed hereunder and all other bank accounts of the Defendants/Respondents for 90 days pending the outcome of investigation and inquiry currently being conducted” by the CBN.

Below are the names of the 20 frozen bank account defendants Bolatito Oduala, Chima Ibebunjoh, Mary Kpengwa, Gatefield Nigeria Limited, Saadat Bibi, Bassey Israel, Wisdom Obi, Nicholas Osazele, Ebere Idibie, Akintomide Yusuf, Uhuo Promise, Mosopefoluwa Odeseye and Adegoke Emmanuel, Umoh Ekanem, Babatunde Segun, Mulu Teghenan, Mary Oshifowora, Winifred Jacob, Victor Solomon and Idunu Williams.

Rinu also stated empathically in another tweet that Nigeria is a zoo as he responded to Twitter users dragging her

“Don’t let anyone deceive you that this country isn’t a zoo,” she said.
