'Comparing Me With Fela Is Disrespectful'- WizKid.

Truly WizKid is another Nigerian most respected afropop artist exporting good sounds overseas and fast becoming a legend with his countless and timeless hit music. But the 28 years old musician kicked against being compared to the legend afro king Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

The comparison started after “Starboy” amazing performance in Royal Albert Hall in London. 

Speaking in an interview with Hiphop TV, he makes it clear that Fela is an inspiration to him which is why being compared to Fela is disrespectful.
He said:

“You cannot compare me with Fela, let us not use that word that is disrespectful.”

” You cannot mention I and Fela in the same sentence.”

“Fela is an inspiration, my performance at Royal Albert hall was inspired by him,” Wizkid said.”
