Chelsea Sign Dutch Defender Hato From Ajax

 Chelsea Football Club on August 03, 2025, confirmed the signing of 18-year-old Dutch defender Jorrel Hato from Ajax for a reported $49 million, marking a significant move in the Premier League transfer window. 

Hato, a versatile left-back with 30 senior appearances for Ajax in the 2024-25 season, signed a five-year contract, with an option for a sixth year.
