Ibeju Lekki: Task Force moves to enforce zero-tolerance of open defecation.
In enforcing zero tolerance for open defecation, the task force team of the Cleaner Ibeju Lekki Initiative led by Mr. Jamiu Olawale recently met with the foremost traditional ruler of Orimedu, Oba Toheeb Isa Oyedele, Oyetu the first and the Adele of Magbon Alade to intimate them on the law recently passed by the legislative arm of Ibeju Lekki Local Government prohibiting open defecation. The wonderful Royal Fathers assured the team of their readiness and cooperation in ensuring a cleaner environment in line with the Hon. Olowa led administration agenda.
As a way of orientation, Oba Toheeb Isa Oyedele, the Onimedu of Orimedu promised prompt dissemination of information to the community as well as enlightenment on the new law while also pleading for more time.
