Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has presented a ceremonial sword, described as the “Sword of Jagaban,” to President Bola Tinubu during a state event held after the inauguration of the Gateway International Airport in Ogun State.
The presentation was made following the president’s official visit to commission the newly completed airport project.

He described the gesture as more than symbolic, calling it a public endorsement of the president’s leadership and policy direction.

Abiodun also expressed confidence in Tinubu’s administration, urging him to continue addressing national challenges such as insecurity, corruption, and economic development.
The governor further declared Ogun State’s support for Tinubu’s re-election bid, pledging continued loyalty to the federal government and alignment with its policies.
He stated that the state remains committed to backing the president’s leadership going forward.
The presentation took place during an official state visit tied to infrastructure commissioning, highlighting ongoing federal and state collaboration on development projects, including the new airport facility in Ogun State.
