The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, setting its presidential nomination form at N100 million.
Details of the timetable were contained in a document signed by the party’s national organising secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Arugungu, aligning its internal processes with the broader election calendar released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to the party, sales of nomination forms will commence on April 25, 2026, and close on May 2, while submission of completed forms is fixed for May 4. Screening of aspirants across various offices is scheduled to follow shortly after.
The APC also confirmed that it will adopt direct primaries across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, allowing registered party members to participate in the candidate selection process.
Under the timetable, presidential primaries are slated for May 28 and 29, 2026, while governorship primaries will take place on May 18. Elections for other positions are spread across the same month, with House of Assembly primaries scheduled for May 16, House of Representatives on May 20, and senatorial primaries on May 22.
The party further outlined that screening for presidential aspirants will be held on May 23, with results to be published the following day. Appeals arising from the screening process are expected to be concluded by May 25.

For other positions, screening will take place between May 9 and May 10, with results released on May 13 and appeals heard on May 14.
