
Savannah Energy, a leading independent energy company, has officially completed the acquisition of Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation (SIPEC), further expanding its footprint in Africa’s oil and gas sector.
The deal, which had been in the pipeline for months, marks a significant milestone in Savannah Energy’s growth strategy, as it strengthens its asset base and operational capabilities in Nigeria and beyond.
Announcing the acquisition, Savannah Energy’s Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Knott, expressed confidence in the company’s ability to maximize the newly acquired assets for increased production and profitability.
