American rapper Offset has been hospitalised after being shot in an incident outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida on Monday evening, according to his representative.
The 34-year-old artist, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus and best known as a member of the hip-hop group Migos, was injured in a shooting that occurred in a valet area near the venue. He was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where he is currently receiving treatment.
His representative confirmed that he is in stable condition and is being closely monitored by medical staff.
The Seminole police department said the shooting involved non-life-threatening injuries and occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Authorities added that two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident as investigations continue.

Officials also stated that the scene has been secured and there is no ongoing threat to public safety, while normal operations at the casino have resumed.
Offset rose to fame as part of the Atlanta-based rap trio Migos, which he formed in 2008 alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The group became one of the most influential acts in hip-hop during the 2010s, shaping modern trap music and achieving global commercial success.
The incident comes years after tragedy struck the group, following the fatal shooting of fellow member Takeoff in 2022 in Houston, an event that deeply impacted the hip-hop community.
Authorities say the current investigation remains ongoing, with further details expected as they become available.
