The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has issued a serious warning, threatening a nationwide strike due to the Federal Government’s failure to settle outstanding bridging claims amounting to N100 billion.
IPMAN alleges that the government has not reimbursed its members for the costs of transporting petroleum products from depots to retail outlets, particularly in remote areas, creating significant operational challenges and financial hardships.
The association has called for immediate government action to settle the claims, warning that a strike would disrupt fuel distribution across the country and severely impact consumers.
This dispute highlights the urgent need for resolution to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply across Nigeria.
