Nollywood actress and Special Assistant to the Speaker of the House of Representatives on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has announced her intention to sue an X user who accused her of running a prostitution network linking young women to top film executives and Nigerian politicians.
The claim, posted on Thursday by @Femzydr1, alleged that Badmus used her political appointment as a reward for facilitating such activities.
Actress denies claims
Responding on her verified X account, Badmus dismissed the allegation as false and warned the accuser of legal consequences. “This is a false accusation, and the authorities will step in. Let it be known that we do not forgive in this zone,” she said.
PUNCH reports that in 2023, a TikTok user, Nwakaego Okoye, made similar claims, resulting in Badmus’ arrest and prosecution. The court later sentenced the accused to three years’ imprisonment, with the option of paying a N150,000 fine instead of jail time.

Apology issued
Following the recent post, the accuser @Femzydr1 issued a public apology, acknowledging the claim was false, irresponsible, and made without evidence. “I deeply regret spreading such damaging and false information,” the user stated.
Badmus’ response highlights her commitment to defending her reputation and signals a potential return to legal action against individuals making defamatory claims online.
