Nigeria’s Super Eagles have opened their camp in Rabat, Morocco, as preparations intensify ahead of the 2026 World Cup African play-off semi-final against Gabon. Ten players have already reported for training as of Monday morning, signaling the start of an important build-up for the crucial tie.

The players in camp include Fulham defender Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Wolves striker Tolu Arokodare, and Olakunle Olusegun of Russian side Pari Nizhny Novgorod. Joining them are Besiktas midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, FC Paris winger Moses Simon, captain William Troost-Ekong, defender Benjamin Fredericks, and Chidozie Awaziem of FC Nantes.
