Governor Okpebholo Visits Governor Yusuf, Promises Justice for Families of Uromi Massacre Victims

 Governor Monday Okpebholo has paid a condolence visit to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf following the tragic killing of 16 travelers in Uromi, Edo State. The victims, who were on their way from Port Harcourt to Kano for Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, were brutally attacked by unknown assailants, sending shockwaves across the nation.


During the visit, Governor Okpebholo expressed deep sorrow over the incident and assured the families of the victims that justice would be served. He called on security agencies to intensify their investigations and ensure that those responsible for the heinous act are brought to book.

“This is a senseless act of violence that should never have happened. We will not rest until justice is served, and the families of the victims receive the support they need during this difficult time,” Okpebholo stated.
