Ibeju Lekki: Weekly report on Council Chairman's activities Jan. 31st- Feb. 5th, 2022.

On Monday, the week started on a serious note as the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa moved to the Eleko junction market where he enlightened the traders on the need to shun roadside trading and embrace the use of the market stalls built for such purposes.

The same day, the members of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) political movement, led by the former Secretary to the Local Government, Hon Waliu Semiu Olusola paid a courtesy visit to the Council Mayor as they sought his support in realizing the divine mandate of the National Leader.

On Tuesday, Block And Concrete Makers Association also paid a courtesy visit to the Council Chairman as they sought ways to partner with the Local Government Council.

The same day, it was brought to the attention of the populace on the free National Common Entrance Examination form being obtained by the Hon Olowa led Administration for beneficiaries of the Local Government Area.

On Wednesday, the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon Abdullahi Sesan Olowa met with the Arewa Community as he canvassed support for the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, while also calling for peaceful coexistence among host communities.

The same day, Ibeju Lekki Local Government took the lead when the final ascent of the Chairman was stamped on the year 2022 budget which was approved by the Council’s Legislature.

The same day, Hon Olowa was bestowed with a prestigious award for his role in promoting tourism, presented at the e-tourism Business Awards and Conference organized by Mall of Fame Nigeria in partnership with African Union – ECOSOCC, Sterling Bank and other notable organizations from the USA, Australia and Turkey.

On Thursday, the Council Mayor went for state duties as it is of concern to the Local Government Council.

On Friday, Chinese expatriates and their partner, Hon Wasiu Elemoro was at the Council Secretariat for the proposed Gbetu – Iwerekun Road rehabilitation Project which is set to commence under the dynamic led Administration of Hon. Olowa.

The same day, the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, paid a visit to the Eleko Beach while hinting on a PPP arrangement in order to restore Eleko Beach back to its glorious days.

The week was indeed eventful as the hard-working Council Chairman is determined to put Ibeju Lekki Local Government on the world map. The administration’s works continue to speak volumes.
