I join other good wishers across the country to felicitate with one of our own, an outstanding media guru and a distinguished personality in the pen pushing profession, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the amiable, hardworking and dynamic Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu.

The rightly deserved award of the Outstanding Public Affairs Practitioner of the Year at the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) didn’t come as a surprise as I have always known you to be the best in whatever you set to do. The little time I tapped from your wealth of wisdom remains a most cherished moment I’ll always hold dear in my heart.

The award in itself is a challenge to aim higher and to do more. As we bask in this euphoria, I pray for more wins as you continue to aim towards the acme of your career.
