President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, penned two letters to the Senate to seek approval for five commissioner-nominees to fill vacant positions in the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC)
Also contained in one of the letters is another nominee appointment as a Federal Commissioner in the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

The two request letters were read at the plenary by Senate President Ahmed Lawan
The nominees for appointment in ICPC include Dr Mojisola Yaya-Kolade (Ekiti, Southwest); Mrs Anne Otelafu Odey (Cross River, Southsouth); Alhaji Goni Ali Gujba (Yobe, Northeast); Dr Louis Solomon Mandama (Adamawa, Northeast); and Senator Anthony O. Agbo (Ebonyi, (Southeast).
On RMAFC, Buhari requested the Upper Chamber to confirm the appointment of Mohammed Sanni Baba representing Bauchi State as the Federal Commissioner in RMAFC.
In the letters, it was stated that the request to confirm the nominees was in accordance with the provision of Section 154(1) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
